We are very proud parents of a healthy baby boy.  He has been eating very well on his first full day at home. The first visit to the pediatrician awaits us tomorrow

BAKER WOODS BYRON

As most of you might have gathered, Baker Woods Byron entered this world on 11-18-11 at 1:50 PM!  He was a healthy 8 lbs 8 oz and  21 1/4 inches long with a head full of red hair.  We were only able to come home Monday evening around 9 PM so we will get to work on posting the hundreds of photos taken while at the hospital.

Thank you to everyone who stopped through, called, texted, emailed or facebooked us.  We love you all and can't wait for you to meet this bundle of joy!

11-11-11

With the full moon this week and all the hype over Friday's date ("The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...") we were hopeful that our little boy would show his face. The dream of Baby Baker coming on 11-11-11 was not fulfilled, but he did check out okay at the doctor again on Thursday with a heart rate within range and still head-down.

We will head back to the doctor Thursday with the hopes that Baker is on his way to this world.

Week 37

Week 37 is upon us and Baker could be here any day now. His heart rate was 140 yesterday and the doctor said he had definitely dropped! Everything with Sandra checked out okay (although she wishes she had been dilated).

Today also marks the birth of a great man, Bill Byron, Jr. Can't wait for dinner at Boccaccia!

Baker's name originated on Bill's side of the family.  His grandfather's name was Joseph Baker Byron, which stemmed from Joseph's mother's maiden name!
